So it’s no surprise they were dubbed ”the most positive couple on The particular Block ” by Foreman Keith .
And even though they were devastated by their auction results , after their home failed to make reserve and was exceeded in, they still found the silver lining.
After taking a few days post-auction to process what happened the pair turned to Instagram to thank fans for all their support.
“We just want to say, thank you all so much for the amazing support and love we have been receiving, ” the post started.
“We would love to reply to you all. Please know how grateful we are 🤍# TheBlock was a great opportunity for us, even though it wasn’t the outcome we hoped for.
“Our beautiful Block home is still on the market, fingers crossed it gets snapped up soon 🤞🏻🤍. ”
In an exclusive interview with 9Entertainment , Dylan was hopeful that the pair could negotiate a better price for themselves post-auction since it was passed in.
“At least we have some control over what might happen after the fact I suppose, ” he said.
And Jenny realised there’s a lot to take from the experience.
“We’ve met great sponsors, we met great people so I know we’re going to get awesome things out of it, ” she said.
After seeing dismal results for House 1, 2, and 3, Dylan and Jenny had still hoped for the best.
Bidding ended up reaching $4. 075, just $5, 000 under their reserve with the couple screaming for the house to be passed it.
Scott Cam had to step in and call their agent Damien Cooley to put a stop to the bidding and the home was finally passed in.
You can watch how their nail-biting auction played out in the video above.
Here’s hoping the loveable couple are close to finalising a deal for House 4.
