Anglesey is the most expensive area to buy a property in North Wales. The island has the highest average house price in North Wales with the figure currently standing at £230, 067, according to data from the Land Registry.

In the year leading to May 2022, house prices on Anglesey have gone up by 12%. Like the rest of North Wales, most property sales in the last year were detached houses.

The average price paid for a home is now over £200K in four of the six counties of North Wales after the latest increase. Along with Anglesey, Gwynedd , Conwy and Flintshire all have average prices above £200k.

As ever, bungalows in particular are in high demand and do not stay on the market for long. This is the case upon Anglesey as they make up three of the county’s five most popular properties.
